Slab Repair
A-Atherton Plumbing offers turnkey slab repair services. This means we remove the portions of the concrete foundation necessary to access the leak, fix the leak and then pour new concrete to fill up the access hole. Most plumbers will only repair the leak and require that the homeowner or business contract another company to gain access to the pipe. At A-Atherton Plumbing, we do it all.
Slab leaks are serious business and can lead to costly repairs. If you suspect you may have a slab leak, here are a few indicators to watch for.
- You’ see a spike in your utility bills. Specifically your water or electricity bill will shoot up.
- You will notice wets spots in your carpet or flooring.
- You’ll have a decrease in water pressure.
- You have a shift in your foundation.
A great way to test if you have a leak is to shut off all of your faucets and then look at your water meter. If the meter is still running then you have a leak.
